Informed Delivery adds a digital preview to physical mail.

USPS Informed Delivery lets participating consumers preview incoming letter-size mail in email or a dashboard. Eligible business mailers can add a digital campaign with a representative image and link. The physical piece still needs correct addressing, barcoding, preparation, and entry to reach the household as planned.

Informed Delivery extends a physical mailing with a digital preview. The plant still has to produce a compliant mail piece, while the campaign team manages the optional digital assets through USPS tools.

Production responsibilities

Production is responsible for accurate addressing, barcodes, and entry timing. The digital campaign cannot correct a physical piece that is prepared or entered incorrectly.

Campaign responsibilities

Campaign creative and enrollment through USPS Informed Delivery business tools. We coordinate when both sides need to land together.
